The RO Plant for Medical Use is a high-precision water purification system designed to produce ultra-pure, bacteria-free, and low-conductivity water that meets the strict quality standards required in hospitals, laboratories, and pharmaceutical industries. This advanced system ensures safe and consistent water purity for critical medical processes such as dialysis, sterilization, injections, laboratory testing, and formulation of medicines.

Working Principle
1.Pre-Treatment Process:

In the first stage, the raw water passes through a series of pre-filters such as sediment and activated carbon filters.

  • Removes suspended solids, chlorine, and organic impurities.
  • Protects the RO membrane from fouling and damage.
2.High-Pressure Pumping:

A high-pressure pump (visible at the base of the system) forces the pre-treated water into the RO membrane.
This pressure is essential for separating pure water molecules from dissolved salts, chemicals, and contaminants.

3.Reverse Osmosis Filtration:

Inside the RO membrane, only pure water molecules are allowed to pass through while all dissolved salts, heavy metals, microorganisms, and pyrogens are rejected. This process results in highly purified water suitable for medical and pharmaceutical use.

4.Post-Treatment & Polishing:

The permeate (pure water) then passes through UV sterilizers, micro-filters, and optional EDI (Electrodeionization) units to further improve water quality. This ensures the final water is sterile, deionized, and safe for use in sensitive applications.

5.Automation & Control:

The system includes an intelligent control panel that monitors water flow, pressure, and conductivity.

  • Pressure gauges and sensors continuously track performance.
  • Automatic shutdown and alarms protect the system from any operational fault.
